We have developed our own website content management system and cloud based member management system used by over 1,500 charities around the UK.

We have grown every year and as we continue to expand we are looking for new people to join the team.

Job Description

We are looking for a recent graduate to join our developer team and help us to continue creating fantastic solutions for our clients. If this is you and you are excited by building great software then your primary role will be joining the team developing our two main products which are our custom built CMS and our member management software along with corresponding mobile app.

You won't be a cog in some large faceless corporation, but you will be able to play a key part in our fast growing company.

The software is continually being developed so you will be joining the team that is adding new features and developing the products. You will also be involved in planning the future features to improve and enhance the product. As part of a small development team you will be making changes to software that is used daily by people around the world.

You will get to be involved in the planning of new features and bring these ideas to life in a way that really helps our clients. The software you develop will make a real difference to the charities we work with as you will see from the feedback received when your work gets released.

This is an exciting position to work in a small company with opportunities for further development as we continue to grow fast.

Skills:

Excellent programming skills

Javascript, JQuery, CSS3, HTML5, PHP, MySQL, AJAX, JSON, The will to explore and experiment with new technologies.

Ideal: Angular/Angular2, Typescript, Webpack, Ionic, RESTful APIs

Good testing methodology. Good communication skills (both written/ verbal), Ability to work in a team as well as by oneself .

Our Graduate Scheme

Our Graduate Scheme is a 2 year programme.

You will benefit from:

  • 2 learn days a month during the Graduate Scheme to hone a particular work related skill.
  • Starting salary: £23,000 with a salary review every 6 months during the Graduate Scheme.
  • Graduate welcome: £1,500 on day 1 at iKnow Church.
  • £750 contribution to your Student Loan every year for the first 5 years of employment
  • At the end of a graduate scheme, a successful candidate will be offered permanent employment and a competitive salary.
